Springfest 2025: A Night to Remember and a Fundraiser for a Better Uptown

Our annual Piccadilly Auction, better known as Springfest, was a resounding success, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the overwhelming support from our community! This year’s event marked a special moment for the Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization (UJRO), as it is not only our biggest fundraiser of the year but also a critical opportunity to make significant improvements to the heart of our town.

Thanks to all of you who came out and braved the rain and even stuck around during the tornado warnings that rolled through the area, Springfest was an evening full of hope, community, and fun. Despite the weather, the spirit of our incredible community shone through. The Civic Center helped in getting our neighbors inside and provide shelter as the storm passed. Thankfully, everyone stayed safe, and we were able to proceed with the night’s festivities.

A Night of Fun & Giving Back

Despite the weather, we dug into the amazing dinner from TJ’s, fueling us for a night full of lively auction items, live auctions, Heads and Tails games, and raffles. Every single auction item donated was a piece of the puzzle that makes Springfest such a special event. We cannot express how much we appreciate your generosity and enthusiasm—your participation helps make it possible for us to continue improving Uptown Jackson.

This year’s event raised crucial funds that will go directly to maintaining and improving our beloved Uptown area. The funds from Springfest allow UJRO to continue our work, including our fountain refurbishment, the installation of new signage to help beautify and guide visitors, and our upcoming facade grants that will revitalize local storefronts.

Looking Ahead

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved—attendees, sponsors, donors, and volunteers—we were able to raise $20,000 this year. These funds are crucial for continuing our work to keep Uptown Jackson vibrant, accessible, and beautiful for years to come.

As we look forward to next year’s Springfest, we hope you’ll continue to support our cause, whether by attending, donating, or volunteering. The heart of Uptown is the community, and together, we are making it stronger every year. We can’t wait to see you all next time!

We’re already thinking ahead to next year’s Springfest—and we’ve got some exciting news:

 We’re switching up the time of the event to make it even better and more accessible for everyone!

Now we need your input  Would you prefer it earlier in the spring when everyone’s itching to get outside, or later in the season when the flowers are in full bloom, school's wrapping up and sports are ending?

When would YOU like to see Springfest next year? We do this for our community, and your opinion matters!
