Thank You for Making Our Uptown Social Celebration a Success

Wednesday night’s Uptown Social Celebration was truly one for the books. Despite snowy weather and limited parking, so many of you braved the conditions to come out and support Uptown Jackson—and we couldn’t be more grateful. We were overwhelmed by the level of support, energy, and genuine interest we saw throughout the evening, and we hope everyone enjoyed the night as much as we did.

A huge thank-you goes to Hubble Creek for being such a welcoming host. Thank you for letting us invade your space for the evening and for helping provide snacks for our guests. Our staff and volunteers loved the opportunity to mingle, connect, and talk with attendees about how our community can get involved with UJRO. It was inspiring to see so many people eager to support Uptown Jackson—whether through volunteering on a committee, helping at events, or contributing financially.

The evening was also a wonderful way to celebrate our current sponsors, investors, and volunteers, and to reflect on our 2025 accomplishments. We’re excited to read the suggestions and ideas shared on how we can continue to make Uptown Jackson even better. We also took time to thank our outgoing board member, Hunter Williams, for his service, and we were thrilled to vote in Micky McQuade as a new board member.

This refreshed format for our “annual meeting” was a huge success, and we can’t wait to bring it back again next year. Thank you all for your continued support—if you have questions or are interested in getting involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to hear from you!
